Alterations & Bespoke Design

Ideally, one of our existing designs, exactly as laid out, will meet your living requirements, aspirations and budget, as well as being suitable for your chosen site.

However, we recognise that building your own home is an important step and that you want to get it right, and therefore you may wish to make some alterations to one of our existing designs to meet your needs. We are open to suggestions, and depending on the extent of the changes proposed, the changes to the design can often be done free of charge.

If however your alterations are of a more significant nature, perhaps involving supporting walls, then your proposals may incur a nominal fee. We will advise you of this beforehand and if you wish provide you with a written quotation.

In addition to alterations to existing designs, we can also provide a bespoke design service incorporating the trademark SkyeHomes traditional Highland architecture. It may be that your building plot has a particular outlook you wish to maximise, perhaps you wish to combine your home with business premises or maybe you need additional accommodation. Provided your proposals are feasible, will embrace the signature SkyeHomes look and have the potential to add to our range, then we can offer this service for a nominal fee.
