BUILDING PLOT DEVELOPMENT and SERVICING

The following list of items should be costed for each self build project. This is not an exhaustive list as each project and plot is unique. 

• Planning Application fee
• Percolation Testing for proposed septic tank
• Location and site plan by local architect/technician
• Building Warrant Application fee
• Engineer’s Report on the ground condition – may be required by local building control authority
• Water supply including building water and connection charge
• BT connection charge
• Electrical supply
• Trenchwork for above by main contractor
• Road access to site
• Tarring belmouth to main road.
• Septic tank and soakaway

A guide price for the above would be £15,000 to £20,000 for a typical building plot.
