 Neil & Justine have built two Taliskers and a Fiscavaig for the purpose of providing self catering accommodation.  In their first season they obtained the coveted five star rating for all three cottages.  We have a link to their website on our own links page so if you're looking for some luxury holiday cottages in the Scottish Highlands, then look no futher.

The cottages are in a lovely woodland setting.  The house in the foreground is our Fiscavaig design with a Talisker in the background.

This is the Talisker exterior.  The cornerstones, or quoins to give them their technical name, tie the house in nicely with the neighbouring Fiscavaig with it's stone clad porch.

The Talisker lounge.  This room allows plenty of natural light through the double windows to the front of the house.  We're sure you'll agree that the Akeroyds have made a beautiful job of furnishing and decorating the house too.

And what better way to stay warm if your holiday is off season than to curl up in front of a wood burning stove.  It could be enough to make you hope for snow in July as an excuse to light it!

This photo shows that the Talisker has a good sized and versatile kitchen area. 

....and a very spacious double bedroom too.

The other bedroom also makes an excellent twin room.

Last but not least, a good sized bathroom to enjoy a good soak in.
