An "Isle Ornsay" on Yell, Shetland

Foundations are almost ready for the kit. Unlike most of our houses which so far face the Atlantic Ocean, this one is overlooking the North Sea.

This shows the ground floor of the house.  From this angle it looks relatively small but the Isle Ornsay is a big house.

This photo shows the structural kit with most of the trusses now on.

Then the sarking begins. 

Sarking is now complete and the blockwork starts.

Here, the blockwork is progressing, some of the windows are in and the roof is almost ready to be slated.

Blockwork, slating and windows completed.  Just the chimney to do now.
